Indie Music Adventures was started by Sol Rodriguez from the band Greenleaf Avenue. After doing countless hours of research for recording, marketing, promoting, managing, etc. for the band, I decided to create this blog in order to organize it all in one place. My hope is that my band members can also easily access this information, but it is also available as a resource and even dedicated to all growing bands.
There are many music marketing and promotions blogs out there, but what I found missing was a site that catered to other topics relevant to up and coming bands as well. I realized I was researching many different topics, not just marketing or promotions. The Indie Music Adventures blog will try to be a well rounded source of information for bands to find in one location.
Join us in our growth and learning. If bands unite and use our collective time, energy and skills, we can get farther thatn we could on our own. I encourage all bands to come here and share ideas and knowledge. Tell your friends with bands about this blog so that we can grow our knoweldge as a community.
I am located in Southern California, so if you’re a band around the Los Angeles or San Diego areas this type of community could be especially helpfull.
